Inspired by the addictive vapors of asphalt: love it or hate it, everyone recognizes the smell of tar! Of course, it is a challenge to build a wearable and pleasant scent from such a raw ingredient. In perfumery, we use a Birch tar essential oil, obtained from the bark of the tree. This is the central pillar here, a deep smoky and leathery presence, enhanced by the equally characteristic warmth of Cardamom. As every beast need its beauty, Narcissus Absolute comes to the rescue with its luxurious floral glow. The dive into darker matters continues with earthy tones of Patchouli and Cypriol- also called Nagarmogtha- and betwitching orientalist fumes of Amber and Tonka Bean.

Cardamom
A seed known as "Eletteria Cardamomum" is the popular green cardamom that is native to southern India, where it grows wild in the forests of the Western Ghats. The use of cardamom oil dates back to Vedic times, about 3,000 BC, and it was made mention of some 1,500 years later too in ancient Ayurvedic texts. Cardamom, one of the oldest known ingredients in perfumery, is part of the ginger family. The scent is complex as it has an aromatic camphor first impression and it evolves into a sweet and balsamic undertone
Cypriol
Also known as "nut grass" in English is the root of a plant with morphology similar to papyrus plants, as both plants are members of the "Cyperus Scariosus" which grows wild in Madhya Pradesh region of India; this papyrus is the same used in Ancient Egypt. The plant is mentioned in the ancient Ayurvedic medicine text Charaka Samhita, and is used extensively in Chinese medicine. The scent is woody (a fusion of cedar, vetiver and patchouli) and earthy with a spicy hint of spice.
Narcissus
A bulbous plant belonging to the family "Narcissus Poeticus", of the amaryllis family, also known as Jonquil. The exact origin is unknown; yet it is believed to have originated in Persia and traveled to China through the Silk Route. Often associated with the Greek legend of Narcissus. The absolute is very rare and expensive as 500 kilos of flowers are needed to produce a kilo of "concrete or absolute", it is produced by solvent extraction. The scent of the absolute is sweet and floral (tuberose like) with green- leafy undertones.
Patchouli
A bushy, evergreen perennial herb called "Pogostemon Cablin", native to Southeast Asia, with lightly fragrant leaves, and white, violet-marked flowers. It grows wild in both Sumatra and Java at high elevations. The oil is extracted by steam distillation from the dried leaves of the patchouli plant. Patchouli is known for being the hippie scent-of-choice in the 1960s, but its traditional uses date back thousands of years. Egypt's King Tut arranged to have ten gallons of patchouli oil buried with him in his tomb. The scent is described as having a dark, musky-earthy aroma profile, reminiscent of wet soil.Shipping by ground by USPS in all U.S 48 contiguous States – average delivery in 48 hours (shipping alcoholic perfume by air is a complicated and costly affair). All other destinations are a case by case arbitration between Fedex, UPS, USPS Global. On average it takes a week to complete international shipments but with recent events we have witnessed extended lead times.

9. Order Availability. In the event You place an order for a Product that is temporarily or permanently unavailable, Your order will not be processed. However, we will inform you via e-mail of this temporary or permanent unavailability. If the Product is temporarily unavailable, We will email You when it is again available.
10. Delivery.
a. General. Delivery times will vary according to the destination and delivery method selected. In addition, depending on the delivery method selected, a signature may be required to complete delivery, additional charges may be assessed if more than one attempt if made for delivery or the Product may be returned to us if delivery cannot be made. We are not responsible for and disclaim all liability for any delays in or additional charges assessed regarding delivery or if delivery cannot be made by the third party responsible for such delivery. We also are not responsible and disclaim all liability for Products lost during shipment. Delayed delivery, the assessment of additional delivery charges, failure to deliver by such third party and loss of Products during shipment do not constitute a breach of these Terms and Conditions nor will they constitute a valid reason or basis for cancellation of Your order.

c. Delivery Location. Your order will be shipped to the delivery address you provide. Please make sure to provide all the details needed including apartment/suite/building number, and the company name if needed.
d. Delivery in U.S. All Products shipped to the US shipping Location, except sample orders, are shipped via UPS Ground. For this reason, delivery may take up to a week. Sample orders are shipped via USPS First Class and the delivery may take up to 8-10 business days. Tracking is not available for sample orders.
Orders placed on Friday will be processed on the following Monday.
e. Delivery in Canada. All Products, including sample orders, shipped to Canada are shipped via Canada Post. For this reason, delivery may take up to a week.

11. Returns and Exchanges. All sales of Products are final. We do not provide refunds. Also, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the Product You received is (a) defective and such defect did not occur during the shipping process or (b) not the Product You ordered. 12. Risk of Loss. Our responsibility and liability for the condition of the Products You purchase is terminated upon Our delivery of the Product to the third party responsible for shipment.
